    Hey guys! We are departing on March 19, back by April 2. Unfortunately, we will not be bringing Yasmine with us:( (Yasmine had a major tantrum with TC on the day Rebecca Breeden needed a final headcount - hence our decision had absolutely nothing to do with reading your adventures with Allie). She's had a rough transition to the new school we put her in just a few weeks ago. Yasmine is getting better now, and we'd like her to keep a consistent schedule for now. My poor parents will have to watch her and bring her to school when we're gone. So rather than go to China or Taiwan early, we'll just do the standard GWCA trip to Beijing first. We look forward to your blog postings. You'll be back before we leave. Our fledgling blog is: ameliagalian.blogspot.com

    Wow! That's great! Glad you're going so soon and we'll have to pencil in a playdate in late April once everyone is settled in.

    And yes, I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that Allie's a nutjob and you're suddenly not bringing Yasmine... ;-) But can't say I disagree with you. Allie's been great to have around and Allie's also been a major pain to have around, so either way is good. Not like you guys won't have plenty of other trips to Taiwan or China later down the road.
